After her second respawn, Alyx decided that maybe the Scout approach wasn't for her. Before heading back out into the field, she checked through the storage lockers in search of a better weapon set. Rocket launcher? Too cumbersome. Ditto the grenade launcher, and the minigun--the damn thing probably weighs more than she does.
The sniper rifle and SMG? Perfect.
Once equipped, she finds a suitable spot up high, and scans the ground below. She's looking for any spot of blue, but keeping one eye on the nearer end of the tunnel. The cart should be coming through any time now...
