BLU operations in the area have met with horrific resistance from RED of late. Steps, as they say, had to be taken. When the intelligence reports last filched from under RED's nose indicated the RED team had concentrated vast quantities of infrastructure in a single location accessible by rail from an old, forgotten BLU listening post...

Well. Who are the BLU field operatives to ignore an opportunity dropped in their lap?

Time for some serious mayhem.

After a bracer of whiskey Artemis was ready to go and foil the latest master plan of Dr. Loveless. There is just one slight problem to his exit as he is confronted by two doors this time instead of his usual singular door. Not sure what to do or which door to choose he flips a coin.

Red wins and so now there is one curious and lost gunslinger who enters the room. The view of the missiles catch his attention long enough for the door to swing closed behind him. And, of course, turning at the sound of the click, Artemis turns to find the door is gone.

"Now what?" he says out loud.

"And anozzer person from Milliways." Spy restrains a sigh. It's either going to be a very long day or a very amusing one.

"Welcome to zee RED Base. I 'ope you know 'ow to fight; we are about to come under attack."

Artemis can't help the snicker the vaudeville accent causes.

"I know a little something about fighting," he replies once he finds his voice. He lifts the corner of his coat clear of the Colt .45 holstered at his hip to make his point. "I think there's been a mistake though, I have no idea what Red Base is."

What vaudeville accent? That's the way Spy talks...some of the time. Spies are sneaky like that.

Say, that's not a bad pistol. Spy prefers the Python himself, though, so forgive him if he's not impressed.

"Reliable Excavation Demolitions, or RED, are my employers. We've 'ad a base 'ere for sometime, but zee bastards over at Builders League United would like notsing more zhan to destroy et and us wis et," the man in the mask delivers coolly.

"I can try to find a door back to zee Bar for you, but not until after we 'ave repelled zhem. And for your own safeties sake, I suggest you join me and put a uniform on. Ozzerwise bose sides will be trying to kill you instead of jus' one."

And if he goes that route, Spy might as well gut him then and there and save himself a lot of trouble.

Unfortunately for Artemis the Python's a bit after his time.

"Arty, what have to gotten yourself into," he thinks to himself before saying to the strange man, "Okay, I guess I better help out then. What uniforms do you have?"

"We 'ave a few options for you. If I may make a suggestion, zhough? We would find an extra Demoman quite useful, ef you know 'ow to 'andle a grenade launcher." He takes a drag of his cigarette as he looks Artemis over.

"You look like you may also fit ento zee Soldier's uniform, ef you prefer a rocket launcher, or zee Medic's."

It really makes no difference to Spy.

"I see. Must be a big gun," Artemis replies thinking of the grenades of his time. "Well, let's get me suited up."

Demoman blows himself up often enough that Spy has no issues with giving this man the same option.

"Right, zhen. 'ere iz your uniform and, when you are ready, 'ere are your weapons. Zee first one fires your standard grenades and zee second fires sticky bombs which may act as mines or booby traps. You can also use zhem to propel yourself srough zee air, zhough I advise caution. Et iz entirely possible to kill yourself zat way."

Spy hesitates a moment, then shrugs. "I suppose you should 'ave zhis, too," he says, pulling out a bottle of the Demo's scrumpy.

Artemis whistles at the gun and then sniffs the scrumpy. "Don't think I'll be touching that until after this is all done." He does test the heft of the bottle though, just in case.

Spy shrugs again. "Demoman uses et as a weapon, en addition to drinking it.

"Zee siren will sound soon. I suggest you make ready."

OKay my first thought was Engineer for old Arty here but I don't think I'm up for that based on the descriptions on the wiki.

I would like to go with Demoman this time. Maybe next time I'll feel up to running him as an Engineer. =D
